Tablet or patch?

Both deliver estradiol, and both are generic medicines, not compounded. Estrogen through the skin, as a patch, skips a first pass through the liver, and in a large UK study patches and gels weren’t linked to blood clots, unlike tablets. Your provider helps you choose.

Do I need progesterone too?

If you still have your uterus, yes: your provider will also prescribe progesterone to protect its lining.

Is hormone therapy right for me?

It depends on your age, your health history and the type of treatment, which is why a provider reviews your answers first and checks in as you go. Each treatment’s page has its important safety information.

How much does it cost?

Each treatment shows its price, from $29 a month, and most come as a 2-month supply billed every 2 months. Each order has a $20 consult fee, which covers your provider’s review of everything in it and isn’t refundable.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes. Every treatment starts with a short online visit, and a provider licensed in your state decides whether it’s right for you.

Are these compounded?

Some are. GHK-Cu Cream is compounded for you by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy, and the FDA doesn’t review compounded medicines for safety, effectiveness or quality. The others are generic medicines, dispensed as the manufacturer makes them. Each treatment’s page says which it is.
